Interview as many people as possible. Your goal is to see why they chose their specific answer. Hint: Ask them to give you some reasons on how they came to this conclusion.
Which one of these five individuals had the most accurate vision of what the United States would become? • Thomas Jefferson • Alexander Hamilton • Henry Clay • Samuel Slater • Abraham Lincoln
There is no right or wrong answer.
Personally, Abraham Lincoln
Reason being that he saw that slavery was a bad thing and that it was destroying us a nation. He did notice this a bit late yes but that is okay. He did start a civil war over slavery as well but in turn it actually brought us closer as a nation and ended slavery.
i have no clue if it is what you are looking for but
But how did he have an accurate vision for what the US would become? Your reasoning, although is very good, tells me what he did at the time. What was his vision for the US? That is what I need to know :)
@Joshua_S i responded :)
His vision for the US is for us to be economically strong
as noted in his Second Innagural Address
I agree with @Joshua_S. :P
@Ashy98 @wwhitlock
Abraham Lincoln
Reasons?
he had thought not just for his era but for the future to
he did not care if others said he was wrong he just did what he felt was best for his country
Alexander Hamilton easily
He created our fiscal system and it's still in use today he had the most accurate vision of the country. Abraham Lincoln was a great man, but if you do you're research the Civil War was fought over much more than just slavery. He fought to keep the Union together because of the South succeeding had the South never succeeded we would still have slavery. The reason the Emancipation Proclamation was created was to keep England out of the war since they had already outlawed slavery.
