from both sides :)

the -3 on the right side goes "poof"

then if you subtract "x" from both sides
the "x" on the left side goes "poof"

thus, isolating the variable

actually, the 3 was in my pocket, it was burning and making a hole, so I pulled it out =)

just a simple equation simplifiction
adding/subtracting the same value to both sides, doesn't alter the equation
