What does "2 soli" mean in an acapella choral song?

this is just based on my band/orchestra knowledge :P

soli is almost like a solo except there might be other musical lines going on during a soli
while in a solo it is usually only just the soloist playing

2 soli should mean that there would be two people playing that musical line (not one, and if there are more people in that section, limit only to two people)

kind of like a two person solo

but there will be other people singing in the other parts with the soli people :)
the soli people will be the main musical melody/phrasing there though
