please help fan and medal

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

what is the question?

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

Okay let me check it out

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

@KendrickLamar2014 @Ms-Brains

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

wait scratch that, 16 and 4 is propably the answer

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm hint: http://www.mathwords.com/a/absolute_value.htm

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

@dan815 @nincompoop

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

r u sure @MajesticGalaxy

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

ya it would make much more sense, i will explain in further detail

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

ok

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

so obviously the negative number would not be a possible answer, so we can leave that to the side

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

now we are left with 3 numbers

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

and we can only choose 2 so that is a bit tricky because 0 could be a possible answer but we need to know "what goes into this number"

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

so 16 for sure goes into 16 so they are equal

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

so we just found our first number

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

now time to figure out our second one

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

Oh wait.. I just found what I messed up on

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

4 would not go into 16

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

it would be 0 and 16

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

so 0 and 16

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

I am not to sure, this is a really tricky one to decide. But FOR SURE the 1st one is 16

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

the 2nd one could either be 0 or 4

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

My best choice would propably be 0

OpenStudy (majesticgalaxy):

Good luck :)

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

@satellite73 @Astrophysics @jigglypuff314 pls help

OpenStudy (mrcoolguy):

@Ms-Brains

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think you are correct. 16,0

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

\[|-x| = x\]

OpenStudy (astrophysics):
