@pooja195 could you plz help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or some one?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm did you mean -5, 4 and 2, 5? as opposed to the decimals shown

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Cake-oh-la: Would you consider plotting those two points, please? How far apart are the points in the horiz. direction? In the vertical direction? Your points (-5,4) MUST be enclosed in parentheses. Enclose "2, 5" in parentheses, please.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

boy, the answer from \(\Large | 5.4-2.5 | \) is right on your nose

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im a girl but thx

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

either way.... dunno if you're referring to decimals or actual points on a grid hmm hehe, "boy" is just a genderless expression anyhow....dunno if it refers to -5.4 or (-5, 4) and 2.5 or (2, 5)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@jdoe0001: Please be respectful of the person you're trying to help. No "it's right under y our nose." As a matter of fact, I doubt that the distance in question is |5.4-2.5|. The two points are (-5,4) and (2,5). Perhaps you could provide @cupcakeohla with the appropriate distance formula.
