I have to find the surface area of this figure. Round to the nearest hundredth.
area of triangles * 5 + area of base (its a pentagon) = surface area
1485?
looks like you could find the perpendicular height using pythagorean theorem. the base looks like a pentagon of side 16 so when you "open" you have a rectangle the area would be the perimeter of the base multiplied by the height you calculated
