Fan & Medal. If a polynomial equation P(x) = 0 has 3+4i as a solution, what other solution mus it have?

OpenStudy (leozap1):

I think it's 3-4i but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The conjugate of 3 + 4i has to be a solution if 3 + 4i is a solution. The conjugate of a + bi is a - bi. Therefore, the conjugate of 3 + 4i is 3 - 4i.

Thank you! :D
