OpenStudy (jungleman03):

WILL MEDAL!!!!!! What is a difference between ATP and ADP molecules? ADP can be used to directly power movement, while ATP cannot. ATP molecules provide less energy to the cell than ADP molecules. ATP has three phosphate groups, while ADP has two phosphate groups. ADP is only made in plants, while ATP is made in both plants and animals.

OpenStudy (scarlett_feathers):

Do you understand what ATP and ADP are ?

OpenStudy (jungleman03):

no not really its energy right

OpenStudy (scarlett_feathers):

Sorta Correct ATP supplies energy for many cellular processes by undergoing enzymatic hydrolysis But ADP is formed in living cells as an between ATP and AMP. It can be reversibly converted to ATP for the storing of energy by the addition of a high-energy phosphate group

OpenStudy (scarlett_feathers):

ADP is composed of composed of adenosine and two phosphate groups While ATP is composed of adenosine and has three phosphate groups

OpenStudy (jungleman03):

so the answer is c

OpenStudy (scarlett_feathers):

correct :)

OpenStudy (jungleman03):

cool ty!!

OpenStudy (scarlett_feathers):

NP if you need anything else tag me

OpenStudy (anonymous):
