I am thinking it is B too John Cabot accomplished many things during his life. Like the time he sailed to North America and named the majarity of it's island and capes. john Cabot also discovered Newland. He tried to sail from North America to Asia by sticking to the western route. he was trying to find a Northwest passage. Cabot landed along on the east cost of Canada, which he took into posession, and explored further along coastline."His explorations lay ground for the British claims for Canada."
