@DarkMatter8 That is only true if the coefficients of the polynomial are real. I don't see that stated anywhere in the problem. That's why we don't have enough information to come to any conclusion about any other roots. If the problem were "A polynomial with real coefficients has one root that equals 2+i; name one other root of this polynomial." then you would be correct.
