Because all the the other items can be identifies as wants, whereas Bran Cereal is a food item which is a need. Usually when prices of such needs go up, people are still inclined to buy them.

Turns out it was shoes. I guess probably because everyone needs shoes and there are many substitutes for the food bran cereal, just in the cereal category alone. Bran was my second guess though.
