i thought it was c at first but then skull patrol said what he said and i thout it was both

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

What does the word "unit" mean to you? @jasutton04

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a quantity of something

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Not exactly, the quantity of something is the something you are measuring, like mass in this question.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

The "unit" is what you are measuring that some thing in, like mg or g.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

1 mg does not equal 1 gram that is why you have to convert the 1 unit to another, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is a?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have enouther one if you have time

The values can be added after making a conversion of units because they both measure area. D. The values cannot be added because one is measuring area and the other is measuring capacity.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

You marked C and that is the right answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
