Considering that we are heliocentric he sun and the earth will make the seasons depending on the orbit. All of our seasons are dependent on the angles of the sun. Winter is when the sun is tilted away from the earth. Summer is when the sun is directed right at the earth and is closer to it. The different seasons are differing times of the year depend on the amount of sunshine or UV rays entering our universe. The sun was proposed to be the center of the universe by someone by the name of Copernicus. This is the more commonly believed theory. Hopefully this helps you!
