Please Help math problem!!! What is the slope-intercept form of the equation 4x + 2y = 6? Please show the steps?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you need to covert to the form y = mx + b (m is slope and b = y intercept)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk 4y + 2y = 6. 1) Subtract 4x from both sides. 2y = -4x + 6 2) Divide both sides by 2 to get y alone. y = -2x + 3 ^^ thats your answer :)
