Calculate the mass of a 5.50cm^3 cylinder of a substance that has a density of 4.20g/cm^3

OpenStudy (retireed):

Density = Mass / Volume Mass = Density * Volume Plug and chug the values.

OpenStudy (retireed):

mass in grams volume in cm^3 density in g/cm^3 (volume in cm^3) (density in g/cm^3) = mass in grams Notice how the cm^3 units cancel out in the multiplication leaving just grams on both sides
