SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I need to get this handed in by tomorrow. The Soccer Club is selling T-Shirts and washing cars to raise money for a summer trip. Last week, the club raised $292.50 by selling 15 T-Shirts and washing 12 cars. This week, it raised $747,50 by selling 45 T-Shirts and washing 10 cars. How much does the Soccer club charge for a T-shirt? (please show work to help.) How much does the Soccer Club charge for a car wash? (please show work to help.)
Please choose a letter to represent the charge for a T-shirt and another letter to repres. the charge for a car wash. Just for practice, write an expression using these two representations for the income derived from 2 car washes and 3 t-shirts. Then write a similar expression, but without the 2 and 3, for the total income, $747.50. You'll need to write one more equation, and then solve the pair of equations simultaneously.
Does this link seem quite accurate on what I'm supposed to do? https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20150213072614AAhXDAJ (ANd yes, I was using x for shirts and y for cars. I forgot to put that in.)
I'd frankly much rather respond to the work you yourself have already done.
I've not really done anything, actually. I'm stuck. All I got were the equations, which is exactly how they did it in the link; 15x + 12y= 292.50 and 45x + 10y = 747.50
What are you asking me (or other OpenStudy) users?
Never mind. I got my answer. It's all in the link. Thank you, anyways :)
