RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

I can help :)

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

to find the value of (x) you must add both of the equations together to make 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (macabbey101):

Yay! Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (macabbey101):

ok and how would I start adding them both together?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

as so: \[(2x+31)+(2x+29)\]

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

\[(2x+31)+(2x+29)=180\]add like terms.\[2x+2x+31+29=180\](combine)\[4x+60=180\]

OpenStudy (macabbey101):

and then solve for x?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

yup :)

OpenStudy (macabbey101):

so its 30? Thank you so much you have no idea how much that helped me!

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):
