Which sentence has correct capitalization? Bob Masters took his Family on Vacation to the Bahamas. Bob masters took his family on vacation to the bahamas. Bob Masters took his family on vacation to the Bahamas. Bob masters took his family on Vacation to the Bahamas.
@Conqueror @celinegirl @GoldPhenoix @Jack_Prism @KayleahJB @Killer_Shadow @AloneS @alibaby any one help
What do you think?
The last sentence is the correct option because you only capitalize proper nouns this results in the last sentence because you only are supposed to capitalize the name of the place and the person.
I found a lovely picture from google. http://images.tutorvista.com/cms/images/69/capitalization-rules.png You can use this future reference.
The last one is certainly not correct, just saying. >_>
@Jack_Prism I was thinking c but I just wanted to ask because I'm not good in english
I'm more of a math person
yeah same but my second answer would be C
so i was right?
Bob is supposed to be capitalized because of #1 and #3. Master is debatable because it can be his last name or his calling. took, his, on are not nouns, therefore they should not be capitalized. Vacation should not be capitalized because it is not a SPECIFIC location. Bahamas should be capitalized because it is a SPECIFIC place, as it refers to an archipelago. Yes, you are right. =)
