you can write down the topics of each paragraph in your text book and under each topic list important details. then carefully look for key words and write them down with there definitions. I would also suggest highlighting your notes

ok say you have 3 large paragraphs. They will each have a main topic that the entire paragraph is based on. You need to write down what that main topic is. then you can add more important information to your notes that the paragraphs provides you with. Any vocabulary that is important to know, you can make side notes with. Once you finish reviewing your notes you can take a highlighter and highlight anything you think is extra important to know
