fresh side grocery sells 7 bagels for $4.41. value mart sells 5 bagles for $3.60 how do the unit rates compair

563blackghost (563blackghost):

So we would have two equations....because we would divide the number of bagels by the total price for them to get the unit rate.... \[4.41 \div 7 = ?\] and \[3.60 \div 5 = ?\] We now divide them both and choose the one with a less value...

563blackghost (563blackghost):

what do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 360 divided by 5

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Well 3.60 divided by 5 ^^ that is how we would get our unit rate

563blackghost (563blackghost):

make sure you put the point or would get a wrong outcome...
