Function: A function is a set of ordered pairs in which each x-element has only ONE y-element associated with it. Non-Function : (0,1), (8,3), (0,-4) <---- not function cause 0 is used twice for x..... Function: (0,1), (3,4), (8,9) <---- none are the same... Relation:A relation is simply a set of ordered pairs.

OpenStudy (kaioken360):

@563blackghost it is only a function, is that what you are saying?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Not really... this is in fact a function but it is also a relation since it is a simply some ordered pairs....Great Job on figuring that it is a function ^^

OpenStudy (kaioken360):

Thanks
