OpenStudy (loser66):

what does \(\sum(a^2(b-c)^2)\) mean?

OpenStudy (loser66):

I read but don't get what it mean. Please, help how to prove the expression

OpenStudy (kainui):

It would be nice if you could show the rest of the problem to give some context in figuring this out haha

OpenStudy (kainui):

My best guess is it means to go through a,b, and c in like some sorta cyclic order or something? like: \[a^2(b-c)^2 + b^2(c-a)^2 + c^2(a-b)^2\]

OpenStudy (loser66):

The expression I need prove is just this. No solution for it.

OpenStudy (loser66):

Ignore it, if we have to prove the first expression, that is \((ab+bc+ac)^2\geq 3abc(a+b+c)\)

OpenStudy (loser66):

How to start?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

this makes no sense, there is no index

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

also, what would you prove if there was? It is sort of like saying 'prove 2+3' .
