OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

hey one quick question when someone says two seats away do they mean like counting 1 2 and then the third seat is it or do they mean a seat in between?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd interpret this as being "not the seat next to you, but the next one over." Your explanation is fine, too.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I'd think they mean the third seat as you said. So if you're in seat #1, the person in seat #4 would be two seats away. But it's open to interpretation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would count the chair that the person is setting in then keep counting
