Just wanted someone to check my work to verify I'm correct... If Chris is 10 meters away from the end zone and starts accelerating at 2 meters / second^2, at what time does he reach the end zone? I think the answer is 5 seconds. From using d=1/2 at^2, I know Chris runs 4 meters in 2 seconds, but I'm not quite confident on how those steps. Could anyone explain how to find the TIME for a set distance?
