Is this a mathematics question? Maybe they couldn't COUNT the NUMBER of their children sacrificed to their false gods? Perhaps you could read your course materials. If you know, then don't do it.
You have received probably all the help you can in the Mathematics section.
Post this in History and I will be able to assist you. :)
Montezuma II was an Aztec ruler famous for ruling the Aztec when their land was invaded by the Spanish conquistador, Hernan Cortes. The Native Americans conquered by Montezuma had to pay him high taxes, and send humans for sacrifice. Montezuma was unpopular to those he conquered, but he was considered a great ruler with his own people. Montezuma gave Cortes and his men gifts of gold. In 1520, Montezuma was killed in a battle between the Spanish troops and Aztec warriors.

Heyyyy!!! How about we all move this question to the History section!!! :)
@JessicaH123 You are asking for help - admittedly from a place where you are not actually expecting to get any. Just move on.
Then we can talk about this forever! :) This is the Mathematics section, that's why.
