I believe it does so lets work it out... 2 (sqrt5x-4) - 3 = -11 2 (sqrt5x-4) = -8 add 3 (sqrt5x-4) = -4 divide by 2 5x-4=16 square both sides 5x=20 add 4 x=4 divide by 5
