This is a sorta good question to ask but if not then oh well...
Why does the smartscore only go to 99?
Why not make it higher?

Well as far as i know there is only one 100 ss user at a time

It only goes up to 99 because there has to be only one 100ss. The user who is at 100ss means they have more points than every user on OS. If someone else exceeds the 100ss user, then that 100ss user will go back to 99 and the one who exceeded gets up to 100ss.
