OpenStudy (winsteria):

anyone else know? :/

OpenStudy (winsteria):

@Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Truthfully? It is an idiotic question. I dare you to define "most efficient".

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Well, I still need help with it.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

well it is easier to substutute in an expression that is not a fraction so I think we can rule out options 2 and 4

OpenStudy (welshfella):

which one do you think is easier to plug into the first equation 1 or 3?

OpenStudy (winsteria):

1st one.

OpenStudy (rose4825):

I believe it would be the first one, because then you would be able to plug in the x-value into the other equation.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you have 4y in the 3rd one and 2y in the first equation in the question .....

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Thank you

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Right i agree The first one.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you were my child in a high school algebra class, your teacher would hear from me on this one! Very, very bad!! Horrible. I hope it's not in a book. Is it? If it is, tell me the author, I'll write them a letter. Horrid, nasty, disgusting problem.
