first equation is $$x*1 + y*2 = 28$$ next one is $$x+y=17$$ do you know how to do the rest?

No problem :) here is how it's done:
first one there are x baskets worth 1 point and y worth 2 points
second one is sum of x and y baskets which is stated to be 17 in question :)
