OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

What is the circumference of the circle if the radius is 5x

OpenStudy (mishapocolypse0314):

circumference = 2pi r so it would be 2pi 5x. idk if youre allowed to simpilify it further but yeah

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

I need to bring it down

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

so would it be 31.43X

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

@xapproachesinfinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your answer is pretty close its 31.41

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

so there is no x anymore?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no there is no x

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

from 5x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yus ur right

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

Oh okay cool :) So really its just a normal problem and throw an x on the end.

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

the x doesnt affect the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah u got it! :)

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

okay so now I have something a little different.

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

4. 3x-4 this goes with the same question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats the question asking?

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

What is the circumference of the circle if the radius is 3x-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this one is a bit confusing...lol

OpenStudy (katie_rogers101):

thats okay Ill just have to study some more :) thank you for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what i did is 2(3.14)3x-4 and got the answer approx. 7.424...so square it and the answ is 55.12 i guess that should be right :)
