How do you analyze a table on a calculator to find the horizontal and vertical asymptotes and the x and y intercepts?

For vertical asymptotes: you look for the x value near which the function value is heading towards either +infinity or -infinity.

For horiz. asymptotes, you determine by inspection whether the function value seems to be approaching a particular y-value as x continues to increase.

y-intercept: The value that y takes when x=0.

x-intercept: The value x takes or approaches as y approaches zero from above or below.
