Can someone help explain the steps of muscle contraction including the entire action potential information? I'm extremely confused! Thanks

OpenStudy (mattga2002):

During muscle contraction the thin actin filaments slide over the thick myosin filament. When Calcium is present the blocked active site of the actin clears. Step B: Power stroke: myosin head pivots pulling the actin filament toward the center. Step C: The cross bridge detaches when a new ATP binds with the myosin. This happens because of perpetual contradiction of muscles.

I appreciate your response but I am extremely confused as to what the thin and thick filaments are.
