MEDAL FOR YOU? Please help.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Help with what?

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

OpenStudy (ltrout):

If it's reflected across the 'Y' axis, just change the 'x' values to the opposite of what they are :)

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

oh so it is D? P'(-2,4),Q'(5,-3),R'(1,2)

OpenStudy (ltrout):

No, it would be C. D is making both values (X, Y) opposite of what they are which wouldn't be correct. You're just making the (X, ) value opposite.

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

oh I see. THank you for clarifying

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

can you try this one?

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Oh I love problems like that! Okay so if you look at it, AE is the same size as ED which means AD is 2 times the size of AE/ED. So that would mean that BE is 1/2 of CD so if you take 3x = 1/2(48) what would you get?

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

24 8

OpenStudy (ltrout):

That looks correct to me :)

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

thank you do you like these?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

For seven since the sides are the same size, that means the bottom two angles will be congruent which means that if you do 180-48 to get 132 and divide that by 2 to get 66 that means 66 is the size for each angle on the bottom.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

For 8 the Transitive property of equality says that if A=B and B=C then A=C basically. So take a look at the answer choices for 8 and see which one fits that rule.

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

thanks are you saying that 13x 11, 3, 6 or 12 minus 2 is suppose to equal 39? im confused.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

For which question?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

I didn't even see the second part on question8, one sec

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Number 30 I explained above, for number 31, the angles will all add up to 360, so if you do 360-2(39) you'll get 282. Now you want to setup 2(13x-2)=282 and solve that to get X.

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

Thank you YOu are medaling yourself. I would do it for you!

OpenStudy (resoundinggrace):

Can you help with these 3?
