Water has a density of about 0.0361 pounds/cubic inch. You might know that wood floats on water. What can you conclude about the densities of objects that float and the densities of objects that do not? log density= .01809 plank density= .00271

objects with larger densities than the solvent (water) won't float on top of them so since the log has a larger density than water, it won't float but the plank. . .

okay thank you
