how long will it take Jafar and Kadir working together to cultivate a land which jafar alone can cultivate in 3 hours and Kadir alone in 6 hours?

work out the fraction of the land they can cultivate in 1 hour
Jafar can do 1/3 in 1 hour
Kadir can do 1/6 in 1 hour

Working together they can do 1 /x where x is the time they can do the whole field working together

therefore 1/3 + 1/6 = 1/x

solve for x
