A pharmacy technician is: someone who prepares meals for people who are taking medication. someone who cleans up after a doctor. someone who assists with measuring medication.

OpenStudy (medicaldoctor):

A pharmacy deals with medicine, a pharmacy tech is not a hospital employee. Also usually people taking medication depending on the type would only need a snack so that would be given. For instance a pharmacy tech would work at a Rite Aid or drugstore.
