Set theory
\(70\%\) of the employees in a multinational corporation have VCD players, \(75\) percent have microwave ovens, \(80\) percent have ACs and \(85\) percent have washing machines. At least what percentage of employees has all four gadgets? \(\large \color{black}{\begin{align} & a.)\ 15 \hspace{.33em}\\~\\ & b.)\ 5 \hspace{.33em}\\~\\ & c.)\ 10 \hspace{.33em}\\~\\ & d.)\ \text{cannot be dettermind} \hspace{.33em}\\~\\ \end{align}}\)
can you detirmine that with the info given?
no
then there is your answer :)
yup :)
it just gave you a bunch of numbers to throw you off
The answer given in bookk is \(\large 10\)

Draw a Venn Diagram
lol it is difficult to draw a venn diagram for sets more than 3.
hmmmm...
A long time I am not in touch but I think I agree with @RhondaSommer
But she didn't gave any concrete soln for \(\text{"cannot be determind"}\)
Read the second solution. It is well explained. http://gmatclub.com/forum/70-of-the-employees-in-a-multinational-corporation-have-vcd-players-208187.html
we could've had Set a vcd players set b ovens set c acs set d washing machines. but the venn diagram.. aiyahhh all the crazy intersections everywhere
|dw:1454483092315:dw| but yeah 4 set diagrams are kind of ugly but the smallest intersection is there.
I have read that the above diagram of 4 sets in invalid.
