Help with Trig? Will fan and medal! :) Will attach question soon.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not really sure how to find x and y. I know that the measure of angle B is 15.

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

wouldn't y equal 75 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I have to find the measure of the sides, not angles. 75 degrees is the measure of one of the angles. :(

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

oh okay. is this multiple choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No unfortunately. lol

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

well the hypotenuse is 180 of course so 125 - 180 = 55

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

hope this helps

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

Fan me and say if i got it. and i will give you a medal since this is your first question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y is 55?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What would x be then? :o

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

yeah. That's what i got but let me do some thing real quick don't put that yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. :)

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

How do you do it in school. Show me some of your notes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just got this worksheet today and my teacher didn't explain how to do it. :/ I don't have any notes for it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it has something to do with sin, cos, and tan.

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

well i'd say 55 but when i use the Pythagorean Theorem: i get 129.51

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

Give me the specific question it says on the sheet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How'd you use the pythag for it? :o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. 11. Find the measure of angle B. I got 15 for it. 12. Find x. 13. Find y. That's all it says.

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

11.) 90 degrees + 75 degrees = 165 then 165- 180 = 15 degrees

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

12.) 180 13.) 55 that is my guess for 12&13. Since it doesn't give me the other leg or hypotenuse

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

fan me and message me to say if i got it or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll put that and see what the teacher says. :) Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Already fanned! ^-^

OpenStudy (australia.j.):

great
