If ΔABC is dilated by a scale factor of 2 with a dilation center of A, what will be the coordinates of point B? A) (0, 0) B) (0, 3) C) (0, 4) D) (0, 6)

OpenStudy (abbiegalie):

Since point b coordinates are (0,3) in ABC, when ABC is dilated by a scale factor of 2 the new coordinates of it will be (0,6). The triangle will be twice as big so what you would do is multiply 3 x 2, this gives you 6! ~
