Evaluate the function: f(x) = -2x - 3; when x = 3

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

All you have to do is plug in \(3\) for \(x\). So when you do that your equation should become \(f(x) = -2(3) - 3\).

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Now all you have to do is solve. So when you solve you should get \(-9\)
