Evaluate the function: f(x) = 5x^2 + 4; when x = -2

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Okay... this is just like the last question :) Once again, just plug in \(-2\) for \(x\). So when you do this, your equation will become \(5(-2)^2 + 4\)

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

When you solve for this, you should get \(24\) :)
