Identify the y-intercept for the following line by the given equation: 2x - 3y = -15

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

First subtract \(2x\) from both sides.

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

You will get \(-3y = -2x - 15\)

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Then divide \(-3\) from both sides.

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

So \(-15\) divided by \(-3\) is \(5\). So your y-intercept is \(5\)
