Why is it important for one to be interested in the topic one has to write about?

Because if you're not then you won't write as well. You have to be motivated, dedicated, and take pride in your work so you can do a good job

Say you like to write about space but you have to write about cars. You don't want ot learn anything about cars because it doesn't interest you, so you don't care and write blunt essays. If you write about what your interested in though, it'll be much better because it will have much more details and it will be easier for you to write.Get it? Or should I explain more?

Yes, I also said that one would procrastinate more than usual since one would get bored.
I have to write a minor essay about giving an advice to beginner writers on how the most important step when deciding the purpose of an essay? I chose choosing an interesting topic and so im stuck on how to write the body paragraph
