complementary angles add up to 90 degrees
so the complementary angle of 40 degrees is 90-40 = 50 degrees

ok when you go to post here is a little thing at the bottome ofhte text box that says draw-you can click on that and it works likew paint, or take a screen shot by pressing  "ctrl" "alt" and "delete" at the same time and then pasting it in to paint and uploading it
