wouldnt it be cool if we had a greeting room instead? like; instead of automatically being put into OS feed; when you first join you get dumped into a welcoming commitee and you can be directed were to go and how to go there for your subject XD just an idea

I think this is a good idea. However we don't need a welcome room maybe if they can mention on the email how to use the site it would be better and a more efficient way to get things moving faster.
I like the point of this suggestion though nice :-)
