OpenStudy (crushcandy):

What is the answer when you round 151.976 to the nearest tenths???????

OpenStudy (nottim):

What do you think, @CrushCandy

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so tha you dont see it just 76 so after 70 what will be the next tenth ?

OpenStudy (nottim):

Do you know which number here represents the tenths place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think 150 or 200

OpenStudy (anonymous):

most likely 200

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so you need round up the 76 to proximate tenth - what will be ?

OpenStudy (crushcandy):

Um 151.980

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes exactly - was hard ? i think not

OpenStudy (crushcandy):

Thanks

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

np was my pleasure anytime good luck bye

OpenStudy (mathmale):

151.980 is not the correct answer; that's expressed to the nearest thousandths. Big difference. Try again. What does "nearest tenth" mean? Express 19.463 to the nearest 10th.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Don't confuse "tenths" with "tens." They're not the same.
