I find it helpful here to draw another octagon to play around with
well... notice the octagon, OCTA, 8 sides notice how long each side is what's the perimeter of the octagon?

Not perfect but imagine it's regular
|dw:1454630409858:dw| So that would be the apothem
better than i could draw
i can barely draw a stick figure
ehhehe
How could you find the base by creating right triangles, using the apothem as the height?
Or in other words find this |dw:1454630506608:dw|
My bad that is supposed to be a right angle, forgot to include that

yussss
so.. any ideas on the perimeter?
Lol I know right thank god for OpenStudy's straight line option rather than having to free pen the thing
noo\|dw:1454630744662:dw|
ahemm... so, what happened to the perimeter? it went MIA?
