Which function has the greatest starting value? A. x y 1 1 2 3 3 5 B. y = −7x – 8 C. 5x + 15y = −30 D.https://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1523000_1523500/1523243/3/4c5f6bf44c1e164b7c7c6dba150d0390df1820c8/MS_IMC-1400831-161108.jpg
where do you start, all seem to cover all real numbers for x values
i don't get what the question is asking
probably the y-intercept, when the x value is zero
which has the greatest y value when x=0
none
wait maybe c?
all 4 of them cross the y axis and have a value there, the graph looks like y=-5 for x=0, point (x,y) = (0,-5) For B and C, let X=0 and solve for that Y value oneach... Make a linear equation for A using 2 points from the table to get the slope, and use point-slope form for the line, then let x=0 and solve for that Y value... one of the 4 has the largest y value
so is it c?
C) For X=0, the y value will be 5*0 + 15y = −30 15y=-30 y=-2 greater value than the graph has, check the other 2 answers
for D) it has a Y intercept of -5 right?
