What's your plan? How far apart are the 2 points? What does a 2:3 ratio mean?

After finding the proper way to do this by graphing the line, drawing in the sides of the triangle, finding the ratio on the sides, then connecting the answers are:

(8,1)
(3,8)
and
(-4,-1)
