Which is the BEST place to store medication? A. in a clearly labeled bottle in the medicine cabinet B. in a childproof bottle under the sink C. in a container in the refrigerator, on a top shelf that is hard to reach D. in a clearly labeled childproof bottle on a high shelf

OpenStudy (am0x0):

I would say either A or D as long as the areas are room temperature. Unless the medication or pharmacist specifies otherwise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D.

OpenStudy (medicaldoctor):

As @am0x0 said it would really depend on the type of medication however I would also go with A or D unless instructed otherwise. Depending on the type of medicine cabinet lots of them have latches or preventative measures as well as the bottle to prevent kids from mistaking as candy.

OpenStudy (medicaldoctor):

Some medications do require refrigeration but see that is where this question gets kind of tricky.

OpenStudy (katherinegrace):

d is the answer i had that same question!

OpenStudy (medicaldoctor):

Yes @katherinegrace that seems correct because even when I wrote my reply I knew that a high shelf in the refrigerator would still be acceptable.
